Dear Sir/Madam,

We seek your immediate intervention in a matter of extreme importance.

Raymond Hoser is perhaps Australia’s best known investigative (corruption) author and corruption whistleblower.

He has authored several books, including five best-sellers on crime and corruption.

All five corruption books have been the subject of attempted (and illegal) bans by corrupt government officials who have no respect for the rule of law and or UN Conventions that Australia is a signatory to.

This letter seeks your intervention in an illegal banning of the two latest titles, namely Victoria Police Corruption and Victoria Police Corruption – 2.

The books had been on general sale for 11 months prior to the illegal ban being enforced. They had also been cleared as truthful by the defamation law courts.

You will note that the letters threatening to jail booksellers for selling the books (exact copies available for download from the above site) is reminiscent of what Adolf Hitler did to suppress people and that it is in violation of parts of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Adopted and proclaimed by General Assembly resolution 217 A (III) of 10 December 1948, to which Australia is a signatory.

In particular we note violations of: articles 19 and 28, which say:

Article 19.

Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

And

Article 28.

Everyone is entitled to a social and international order in which the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration can be fully realized.

However, we are unable to get any meaningful media coverage within this country due to illegal control of it by government officials, either directly and/or via so-called ‘self-censorship’.

You will also note that the threats to jail booksellers are in contempt of an Australian Supreme Court judgement dated 18 April this year and against four other legal precedents re alleged ‘contempt of court’. There are NO legal precedents to support the actions of the Australian government in banning these books and nor would we expect one!

You will find the relevant documents and more detailed explanations on the website, so we will not duplicate this information in this letter.

However we ask that you act on this matter forthwith.
