We have them!!!!

Truth really is strange.
We made another approach to the VGRS for the missing transcripts.
And guess what happened?
Well they didn't actually give them to us.
We tried a slightly different approach.
An e-mail was sent to one of their employees, a Mr. Graham Davidge a while back.
He eventually bounced with the following e-mail:

We took up the offer and ended up talking to a helpful man by the name of James. He was happy to give us what we sought and told us to come and get them.
At about 4 PM on 29 January, we fronted the offices of "National Transcription Services" at Level 3, 221 Queen Street, Melbourne and collected both hard copy and the same documents on a floppy disk which we gave them to put the files onto.
True to our word we have placed them onto our websites.
Better late than never!
Reading Eames' sentencing comments, it seemed odd that he had the gall to attack our reporting of the progress of the case when we had done little more than place the accurate government transcripts on the web. Maybe he didn't want the likes of the independent media getting into his judgements and ripping them to shreds in the way that The Strategy newspaper did just a week or two ago.

And yes, other journalists are finding yet more serious defects in the judgement, as are even the VGS! - see a separate media release for the details of that one!
